Welcome to the Raffles Early Childhood Centre, Lakes – conveniently located in the heart of the Lakes Community and in close proximity to Meadows, Emirates Hills, Springs, Dubai Media City, Al Barsha and Barsha Heights.
At Raffles ECC’s we aim to provide our children from the age of 45 days to 6 years with high quality early years provision centered around play based learning.
Our welcoming environments ensure a ‘home from home’ feel and are reflective of our multicultural community. The comfort and happiness of the children in our care, is our priority.
At Raffles ECC’s we follow the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, the statutory framework that sets the standards for Learning, Development and Care for children.
The EYFS promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s ‘school readiness’ and allows for a wonderfully broad range of knowledge and skills that support positive progress and creates lifelong learners. Our learning environment extends beyond the classroom walls and encompasses safe, spacious outdoor learning spaces, where children are free to explore and interact with other children.
Studies show that parental involvement in a child’s education is one of the most crucial factors in helping a child develop self-confidence and the ability to thrive in their everyday learning.
We work in partnership with parents and families to ensure that we holistically understand the needs of the child and can firmly embed these in the learning and care of the individual.
Our team’s skills and enthusiasm, our training in the revised EYFS curriculum, our shared values, and our willingness to progress together are the keys to our ECC’s success. We work side by side with families in a welcoming, inspiring, and warm environment.
